There are many software out there like leadpages or clickfunnels that can help you create landing pages, but with most of them, you have to pay a monthly subscription fee and for those that are getting started or don’t have the money to spend, it can be a bit expensive.
That’s why in this article, I will teach how to create a landing page in WordPress using Elementor. That honestly is cheaper than most of the other third-party software, it’s easy to use and it allows you to create some good looking landing pages.
What is a landing page? & How does it work?
It is basically a single webpage that you have to design specifically for the product, event or service you want to promote in order to get more sales or generate leads.
It’s used the most in paid marketing, social media, and email marketing campaigns. People coming from these sources, you want to grab their attention and convinced them to take an action; like buying a product, subscribing to your site, leaving their email address, playing a video, etc.
What do you need to create a custom landing page?
The first thing you gonna need is a website and hosting service. I recommend getting a good hosting service like Bluehost, it is the one I use and it only costs $3.95 a month.
Secondly, you will need a page builder, in this case, I use Elementor because it is super easy to use and not only it allows me to create landing pages, but also it helps me to design my website, add built-in form, pop-ups and more.
You can use some of these features with the free version of Elementor, but if you truly want to take your design to another level and get all the features, then consider taking the Elementor Pro version.
The third tool you are going to need is an email marketing software so you can collect the emails and send automated emails to the people as soon as they opt-in. I use GetResponse as my email software provider.

Elementor is one of the best WordPress landing page plugins. It allows you to easily create a landing page using ready-made templates that you can modify with simple drag and drop tools.
